Kiss and Tell

Kiss and Tell was the name of the song—
Kiss and Tell—I remember it well—
how we used to go on singing
even after the popcorn was gone,
and the fire ablaze in the heart of a song—
songs of love by the fire of dreams—
the popping fire of early teens—
shoulder to shoulder singing Kiss and Tell…
Kiss and Tell, the old man sang,
lifting the blind to look out on the moon,
years to live on in a single room.
