Poems: Poems of Becoming

Blue as the Raining Stars

The waves roll inward
from the dark,
then green, then breaking white,
they roll like waves from oblivion;
dark, then blue underneath
and sparked with
phosphorescent tails, and grim
and spectre-like, and moss hung.
Blue, blue is my surrender
and soaked with leaves
blue, blue as the raining stars.
