Damien

“I just finished Damien, and want to read more! I really enjoyed the book, and couldn’t put it down – even though I’m really too busy to read these days. It gave me the same feeling as a Michael Chrichton novel- very thought provoking, and would make a great screenplay. I rated it 5 stars on Amazon.”

Damien is a thriller centred on genetic modification which results in a person who is attractive and powerfully dangerous. He turns out to be a symbol of rebirth to an ancient culture struggling to re-establish itself in the modern world.

Written by Oscar Donald Erickson, former writer for the CBC and brother to iconic Canadian architect Arthur Erickson, this novel explores the emotional and psychological implications of integrating a genetically modified individual into society while taking the reader on a wild ride through Latin American politics.
